About Rudra Abhishek
Rudra Abhishek is a powerful and deeply devotional worship of Lord Shiva. During the puja, abhishek is offered to Shivling with sacred items such as water, milk, curd, honey, ghee, sugar, bel leaves, flowers, and mantra chanting. Families often perform Rudra Abhishek for peace, protection, spiritual strength, health prayers, and removal of obstacles.
The puja is commonly performed on Mondays, during Shravan month, on Mahashivratri, or during important family occasions. Since traditions can vary by region and family practice, guidance from an experienced Pandit is helpful for sankalp, mantra sequence, offerings, and completion of the ritual.
