Depending on how you use Pujieo, we may collect:

- Name, mobile number, email address, city, preferred language, and role (Yajman or Pandit).
- OTP verification details used to create or access your account.
- Profile photo, preferences, and other details you choose to add to your account.
2.2 Booking and service information
- Puja type, preferred date and time, location or address, ceremony notes, and special requirements.
- Booking status, cancellation requests, support messages, and service feedback or ratings.
- For Pandits: experience, specialization, service area, languages, verification documents, and availability.
2.3 Payment information
- Payment status, transaction references, invoice details, and refund records when paid features are used.
- Card or UPI details are typically processed by third-party payment providers. Pujieo does not store full card numbers on its own servers where payments are handled by those providers.
2.4 Device, usage, and technical information
- Device type, operating system, app version, browser type, IP address, and approximate location.
- Log data, crash reports, diagnostics, and in-app usage events used for security and improvement.
- Notification tokens used to send OTP, booking updates, and service alerts.
2.5 Website and communication information
- Details submitted through website forms such as waitlist, partner inquiry, Pandit interest, or support.
- Emails, WhatsApp messages, or other communications you send to Pujieo support channels.
- Account deletion requests submitted through the app or the Delete Account Request page.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Create and manage Yajman and Pandit accounts.
- Verify mobile numbers with OTP and protect accounts from unauthorized access.
- Enable Pandit discovery, booking requests, coordination, reminders, and service updates.
- Verify Pandit profiles and maintain trust, safety, and quality on the Platform.
- Process payments, invoices, cancellations, and refunds where applicable.
- Provide Panchang updates, guidance features, notifications, and customer support.
- Improve app performance, fix bugs, prevent fraud, and analyze Platform usage.
- Send important service messages and, where permitted, relevant product updates.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
Where required by applicable law, we process personal information based on:
- Your consent, such as OTP login, optional communications, or form submissions.
- Performance of a contract, such as creating an account or fulfilling a booking request.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only as needed with:
- Pandits and devotees involved in a booking, so the service can be coordinated and completed.
- Service providers such as hosting, cloud storage, SMS/OTP, WhatsApp or messaging, analytics, customer support, and payment partners.
- Professional advisers such as legal, accounting, or compliance partners when reasonably required.
- Authorities when required by law, court order, regulation, or to protect users, rights, or safety.
Third parties who process data for Pujieo are expected to use it only for the agreed purpose and with appropriate safeguards.

You can update some profile details in the app. To request account deletion, use the in-app option where available or submit a request on the Delete Account Request page. Website deletion requests are reviewed by admin and are not completed instantly.
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, accounting, or completed-service reasons.
10. Children's Privacy
Pujieo is intended for adults and families arranging puja and related services. Account and booking features are for users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for account creation without appropriate consent where required by law. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
11. International and Cross-Border Processing
Pujieo primarily serves users in India. Your information may be processed on servers or by service partners in India or other locations as needed to operate the Platform. Where data is transferred, we take steps appropriate under applicable law to protect it.
